****************************************************************************** dorismail 22-Jul-2009 14:24:09 Message No 0612 ****************************************************************************** Author: "Pascal Willis" Subject: revised IGN time series of weekly station coordinates ------=_20090722152359_79644 Dear colleague, a problem was recently detected in some of the IGN solutions (STCD=ign09wd01) corresponding to time series of weekly station coordinates. Fortunately, it only affected some STCD files and not the original SINEX files. If you already downloaded these STCD files, I suggest that you download these solutions again as all files were modified at CDDIS and at IGN data centers. I remind you that you can access these solutions at http://ids.cls.fr/html/doris/ids-station-series.php3 You will also find at this URL address, solutions from other Analysis Centers, as well as older solutions. The IGN solutions are expressed in ITRF2005 and updated regularly on a weekly basis and are available about 1-2 days after data availability. Description files exist at both data centers. For those who never tried to use these products, I remind you that you can access the results (below is an example for Thule, Greenland = THUB) both through plots : ftp://cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/doris/products/stcd/ign09wd01/ign09wd01.stcd.thub.gif and as data file (tabulated XYZ sigXYZ and NEV + sigNEV) for additonnal studies Data are not corrected to take into account any geophysical model for plate tectonic or for global or local uplifts. Sorry for the inconveniences and best regards Pascal ----------------------------- Pascal Willis Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris UFR STEP / GSP Bat Lamarck Case 7011 75205 Paris Cedex 13 France Phone: +33-(0)1 57 27 84 81 Em: willis@ipgp.jussieu.fr http://www.ipgp.jussieu.fr/~willis -----------------------------
